Belden has released the new FiberExpress Brilliance field-installable connector for the field connectorisation of 10G Ethernet, 40G/100G, and other optical fibre networks. The field-installable connector offers a simplified tool-less and quick fibre termination process.

The FiberExpress Brilliance field-installable connector offers complete reliability under a temperature range of -40ºC to +75ºC. The connector allows simple termination of a tight-buffered fibre.
The connector can be utilized in the installations of loose tube fibre, with the inclusion of a break-out kit. Thus, it helps the installers to get the same reliability and yield as with the tight buffered fibre terminations. An external laser light source can be used to ensure on-site fibre installation.
The Brilliance connectors can also be utilized as fibre-to-the-desk, horizontal, or backbone component in data centre, government agency, or a commercial building. The connector’s usage with the Belden FiberExpress Ultra Patch Panel system assures optimal reliability and performance, and labor savings.
