Toshiba Launches First Ultra-Thin 3D LED HDTV for Home Entertainment

Toshiba America Information Systems has introduced new, advanced Cinema Series LED HDTVs that include the WX800 3D Series and the VX700 Series. The Cinema Series HDTVs offer advanced features for home theater entertainment.

WX800 Cinema Series 3D LED-LCD

The WX800 Cinema Series is the first 3D HDTV from Toshiba and provides enhanced viewing experience with 3D Resolution technology. The WX800 can process multiple three-dimensional input formats such as RealD and MPEG4-MVC to deliver problem-free viewing experience. The HDTV’s CineSpeed LED panel comprises a DynaLight control and an edge lighting system that offer a continuous and optimized contrast level for black, white and vivid colors. In addition, the WX800 has the ClearFrame 240Hz technology to provide clear, fast motion sports and movies. The WX800 is available in 46” and 55” screen sizes.

The VX700 Cinema Series HDTV includes the same features as the WX800 model. The LED edge lighting system in the VX700 delivers a 5M:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The VX700 displays content with remarkable details using the ClearFrame 120Hz technology. The HDTV is available with a built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.

The VX700 supports DLNA file sharing, and features a SD/SDHC card slot and two USB ports. The VX700 model is available in 46” and 55” screen sizes.
