Newark, distributor of multi-channel electronic products, has announced that it will distribute the Helieon sustainable light modules. The step will strengthen the company’s solid state lighting product line.
The Helieon lighting solutions were developed by Bridgelux and Molex. The plug-and-play Helieon lighting system is a solid state lighting module, which combines precision lighting with a socketed solution. The economical lighting solutions aid in promoting the widespread deployment of solid state lighting.
The Helieon lighting solutions come with output specifications of 500 to 1,500 lm with options of wide, medium and narrow flood beam spread. These products deliver an equivalent level of light output as conventional light sources.
Molex’s Global Distribution Vice President, Fred Bell stated that the company’s association with Premier Farnell continues to provide effective support and service to Molex’s customers across the globe.
The VP of Worldwide Sales at Bridgelux, David Barnby remarked that the distribution of Helieon LED modules will allow the company to serve its solid state lighting clients.
