The maganalight.com of Larson Electronics has added new models to its high-powered infrared LED lighting portfolio. The additions include the 600W LEDLB-200-IR infrared light, the LEDLB-160-IR infrared 480W LED infrared light, and the LEDLB-160-IR infrared 480W LED infrared light.
The infrared LED lamps can be configured for a combined visible and infrared lighting, or for 940 or 850 wavelengths. The large infrared lamps are the larger versions of the combination of the LEDLB-80X2-VIR visible and infrared LEDs, LEDLB-80X2-VIR, and the MRAP/MATV light. Operators can plug in visible lights to the black out systems using separate power inputs. The lamp’s infrared portion remains switched on continuously.
Rob Bresnahan stated that they continue to manufacture configurations and optics that offer penetration and distance using their LED lights. He added that military installations have utilized the infrared LED lights in the flood mode for covert, general area lighting. The infrared LED lights can switch from visible lighting to covert infrared lights, Bresnahan said. He added that they have manufactured new pole top and bracket mounts, to support the infrared lighting solutions.
