GigOptix Receives 2010 NI Global Supplier Quality Award

Gigoptix, supplier of electro-optic components for 100 and 40 G optical networks, has received the 2010 National Instruments Global Supplier Quality Award for delivering high-quality ASIC products to National Instruments (NI)

The award was received by GigOptix at the NIWeek 2010, where NI displayed the new products to its partners and customers. GigOptix has received the Global Supplier Award for the second consecutive year.

GigOptix has been a partner of NI for more than six years and the solutions provided by GigOptix have been designed for numerous NI products. NI products address a diverse range of end markets such as medical, industrial and test and measurement sectors.    

NI’s Global Supply Chain Director, Scott Christman stated that the Global Supplier Quality Award is given to major suppliers who demonstrate high standards of product quality.

GigOptix’s Director of Marketing, Anil Chaudhry commented that the company offers high-quality products and provides good customer support.
