PRM 4200 monitor

The monitor is supported by OSRAM Opto Semiconductors’ LEDs. The LEDs deliver superior performance, higher dynamic range, color precision and wide color gamut. The 42” LED backlit reference monitor utilizes 1,536 RGB LEDs.

The Dolby PRM-4200 professional reference monitor has been customized for professional applications, which need superior greyscale tracking, deep black levels, improved dynamic range and precise and true color reproduction. Combination of Dolby’s calibration and dual-modulation technologies and OSRAM’s LEDs enable the display to meet the demanding requirements.

Dolby uses Ceramos MultiLED devices. The LED’s blue, green and red chips are positioned so that the color combination exhibits the same appearance when viewed from various angles. The package is suitable for flat backlights and the ceramics material provides high stability for an extended period of time. The LEDs have a lifespan of more than 50,000 h.
