Provider of laser measurement solutions, Ophir-Spiricon, has rolled out an offline software application that allows users to identify an optimum energy/power sensor for their laser. The offline Sensor Finder application is specifically developed for those users who do not have access to the Internet.
The Sensor Finder application offers the same functionalities as the online version. Users can enter the type of measurement and laser characteristics that are needed. The Sensor Finder application then offers a list of power/energy sensors from Ophir-Spiricon. These sensors, along with their laser, operate under the mentioned conditions.
The Sensor Finder determines and shows the laser’s energy and power density and the resultant destruction limit of the sensor under the stated conditions. The Sensor Finder determines which sensors can work with the laser specification.
The application also displays how close a user is to the damage threshold, so that the user can select a sensor, which is below the damage threshold. The selected sensors laser can be saved in a report layout. The Sensor Finder is compatible with Windows 7, Vista or XP operating systems and needs Microsoft Office 2003.
