Laser Components has launched the new CS405 and K41 series fiber-coupled laser diodes, for scientific, printing, illumination, medical technology, and material processing applications.
The fibre diode’s output power changes from 20 to 100 mW, at a wavelength of 405 nm. The distinct alignment of these 3 - 60 µm fibres provides maximum electronic and optical performance. The fibre connection offers optimal beam performance and long-term stability.
The K41 series of laser diodes generate up to 30 mW power from a 3-µm single-mode fibre with 0.12 numerical aperture, and 100 mW power from 60-µm multimode fibre with 0.22 numerical aperture. The CS405 series of laser diodes emit 60 mW power from a 4.5-µm fibre with 0.06 numerical aperture, offering improved coupling efficiency.
The laser diodes are available with SMA, ST, or FC optical connectors, and with thermistor, or thermoelectric cooler. The components are offered in a sturdy metal housing.
