LG has planned to introduce a new series of 3D televisions that will feature latest technology improvements. The LX9500 LED 3D TV, the first of the series, has already been introduced in Korea. The company will launch the full series of 3D televisions in the second half of 2011.
The LG Infinia LX9500 full LED 3D slim television has more number of LED chips and reduces power consumption as much as 70% compared to traditional TVs. The LG LX9500 is available in 47'' and 55'' models. The latter has 1,200 LED panels that are illuminated behind the TV screen.
The LX9500 uses the TruMotion 400 Hz technology that provides blur-free images and smooth, crisp and clear 3D picture. The LX9500 TV features full HD 1080p specification.
The Infinia LX9500 features a wireless multimedia hub for cable-free connection and internet access. The LX9500 can access Wi-Fi networks using an USB adapter. It uses online services including Skype (video call function with optional video camera) and Skype (video call function with optional video camera). In addition, the wireless media hub links the LX9500 TV to mobile phone, camera, Blu-ray player and DLNA-ready notebooks.
