Provider of LED lighting products, Everlight Electronics, has announced that Germany’s Burger King restaurant has installed its advanced energy-efficient LED lights for indoor and outdoor applications. The new restaurant uses renewable energy that delivers one-third of the restaurant’s power usage. Both indoor and outdoor LED lamps save over 55% of power consumption per year when compared to conventional lighting systems.
The restaurant’s parking space is lighted up with six SL-Dolphin street lights. The 60 W street lights provide neutral white illumination with a Phoenix lighting pattern. The SL-Dolphin street lights feature 5000 K color temperature and 6000 lm luminous flux, while the lights’ wide-view angle assures uniform distribution of light from pole height measuring 6 to 8 m. These features make the SL-Dolphin street lights suitable for roadway and parking applications.
The SL-Dolphin lights are being shipped with electronic ballast, which has been designed and developed in Germany. The LED lights have a number of dimming choices and can last eight times longer than other LED street lights.
The guest area of the restaurant features red interior lights that use Everlight’s A-Lamp replacement LED light. The lights deliver uniform illumination and glare-free light distribution. The A-Lamp consumes 7.5 W of power, which is over 50% less than an 18 W lamp with a similar illumination.
