Bestech Australia Introduces optoNCDT ILR 1181 Laser Sensors

Bestech Australia has released Micro-Epsilon’s optoNCDT ILR 1181 long range laser sensors. The laser sensors are mainly used for industrial applications such as filling level measurements.

Long Range Laser Sensor

The optoNCDT ILR 1181 laser sensor offers accurate distance measurements for a maximum of 150m. The swift measuring speed and high-resolution allows the sensors to be utilized for specialized applications. The laser sensors were used in civil engineering applications for measuring the movement or sway of skyscrapers. Evaluating building movements is essential, because it should remain stable at every stage of the construction.

Long range sensors offer an early warning on building tilt at the time of construction, as well as deliver data about the swaying and vibration action of buildings under the impact of wind loading. Later, the data can be evaluated using software provided by Micro-Epsilon.
