Developer and supplier of optical inspection tools, Aven has developed the VGA Color Digital Camera that inputs high-definition signals to VGA connection in any monitor. This helps to save bench space and eradicates PC compatibility issues. The camera can be mounted on any microscope.
With the VGA Color Digital Camera, operators can examine the specimen on a monitor comfortably instead of bending over a microscope. The Aven camera features four resolution settings, digital signal processing circuitry, and a 2-megapixel 1/3-inch CMOS sensor.
The VGA Color Digital Camera has freeze-frame capability, enabling to show defects to peers, and it produces images at a speed of 50-60 frames every second. It also encompasses a low-lux setting for low lighting scenarios, and a cross-hair cursor meant for measurement. Various alterations are available for negative images, automatic or manual exposure, and black-and-white video, to deliver better contrast.
Aven’s President, Mike Shahpurwala stated that video microscopy enables faster and accurate inspections of surface mount technology, circuit boards, and manufactured parts.
