Level 3 to Provide Fiber Optic Connectivity to Transbeam

Fiber-based communication service provider, Level 3 Communications, has signed an agreement with Transbeam to offer fiber optic connectivity services in the Boston region. The connectivity services will be expanded to Washington and Philadelphia areas by 2010 end.

Transbeam, a New York-based firm, has provides a wide range of communication solutions such as hosted private branch exchange, carrier-grade Ethernet and other date delivery services to its customers.

Transbeam’s CEO, Marc Sellouk stated that both enterprise and wholesale clients rely on efficient communication solutions to remain competitive in their related industries. Previous collaboration with Level 3 has allowed the company to offer sophisticated network solution to its customers and the new deal will take the business to a new level, Sellouk said.

Level 3 Communications’ President of Sales, Andrew Crouch informed that the company provides high-quality fiber optic services to meet the growing demand for efficient IP networks.
