New Ultra-Thin LED Monitors from Acer Canada

Acer Canada has rolled out a new range of S1 LED monitors with advanced eco-friendly technologies. The LED displays have an ultra-thin profile and measure 13-15 mm. They  are suitable for consumers who have limited amount of space in their offices.

S1 series display

The S1 monitors offer superior video performance and sophisticated display technologies to provide clear and sharp images. The LED monitors are available in 21.5” and 23”. The 21.5” display ranges from 12.7 mm, while the 23” model measures up to 14.8 mm. The monitors contain white LED backlighting that does not contain any harmful substances such as halogen gases or mercury. The white LED technology in the monitor saves as much as 68% of energy.

The LED monitors have a contrast ratio of 12,000,000:1 through Acer Adaptive Contrast Management to deliver superior image quality. The monitors also have an aspect ratio of 16:9 that enables users to watch HD digital video without any image distortion. The monitors have a 1920x1080 resolution for improved video quality.

The S1 monitors feature 16.7 million colors, 250 cd/m² brightness, 5 ms response time, and have a HDMI interface to deliver high-quality video. The LED monitors are ENERGY STAR 5.0, RoHS and MPR II compliant, allowing users to conserve power and reduce costs.
