Cresco Bank + Trust Replaces T8 Fluorescents with LED Lighting

Cresco Bank & Trust has recently replaced its office lighting systems with advanced LED lighting products. The energy-saving step is a part of the bank’s efforts to bring sustainability to its office space.

New LED lights

Cresco Bank & Trust was previously using the T8 fluorescent lights to illuminate the office areas. The new LED bulbs offer several advantages over the T8 lighting. For instance, the LED bulbs consume 50% less energy and are two to three times more durable than the T8 fluorescent bulbs. The LED lighting does not contain any hazardous substances and offer flicker-free illumination that is healthier for eyes.

Cresco Bank & Trust’s President, Donna Thomas stated that there is a slight difference in the LED lighting’s color tone compared to the fluorescent lights. She added that the bank has taken a significant step by using the LED bulbs for its office space and expects that these lights will become a standard in the near future.
