New ORCAdapt LED Light Pipe System from Bivar

Provider of LED indication products, Bivar has launched the new ORCAdapt light pipe system. The ORCAdapt system provides various options to design engineers to simplify moving LED light in emerging and existing applications. It comprises an ORCA adaptor featuring an inbuilt ORCA Super Flux LED.

ORCAdapt Light Pipe System

The flexible light pipe system of the solution is offered in 1 or 2 mm sizes. The 2mm plastic fiber light pipe is the latest addition to the company’s light pipe series. The optical fiber is covered with a PVC alloy jacket. It increases the transmission of light by a maximum of 98%, and does not have any light leakage.

The solution combines brightness of the ORCA Super Flux LED with the customized routing and light transmission of the light pipe system. The ORCAdapt system is suitable for use in applications including transportation, medical devices, heavy equipment, and field instrumentation.

The ORCA Super Flux LEDs provide additional lens configurations, higher efficiency of power and high luminous intensity, in addition to maintaining a square package form factor of 7.6 mm. The system is available in lengths starting from 2.5” to 238”. It is compatible with tri-color, bi-color, and single ORCA LEDs.
