Semicon-Taiwan Trade Show to Witness CHAD Industries’ LED Wafer Handling Potential

Manufacturer of electronics assembly equipment, CHAD Industries will display its LED wafer handling abilities at the Semicon-Taiwan event to be held in Taipei. Veeco Instruments and CHAD Industries will join to demonstrate the 2” Sapphire wafers’ automated inspection.

Veeco Instruments will exhibit the 3-D non-contact ContourGT-X8 inspection equipment and CHAD Industries will display the WaferMate200 small wafer handling workcell at the trade show. CHAD Industries offers a series of WaferMate workcells and other application solutions for handling non-standard and standard wafers between 2” and 12” size. The workcells are based on standard solutions, which are configured swiftly and easily for each application of the customer from a group of tooling options.

CHAD Industries’ President, Scott Klimczak stated that the wafer handling business of the company continues to grow in Taiwan. He added that the WaferMate200 workcell shows how the company offers customization, which ensures the OEM process tool of the customers to remain standard.
