Business equipment and printing solution provider, Relyco, has launched a new heat tolerant, tear-resistant and waterproof laser paper called REVLAR.
An image or a document can be printed directly on the REVLAR laser paper, thus providing a cost-effective option to time-consuming and costly paper lamination processes. The synthetic laser paper can be utilized in various applications where the printed products are subjected to adverse environmental settings.
The laser-compatible paper integrates both printability and image quality of traditional paper with enhanced resiliency and durability. The paper is unaffected by chemicals and grease and can withstand low and high temperature variations. The laser paper is made of polyester, which renders it to perform even in extreme conditions.
The REVLAR paper has a 450° melting point, which makes it ideal for various applications and equipment. It is also scuff and fade resistant. The paper is available in various thickness ranges such as 13.7, 10.7, 7.7, 5.7, 4.7 and 3.7 mil. The paper can be die cut, folded or punched and thus can be used in a number of industries such as government, healthcare, retail, education and hospitality sectors, among others.
