New Trumpf TruLaser 7000 Cutting Machine from Ohio Laser

Ohio Laser, metal fabrication expert, has introduced a new, advanced laser tube-cutting machine called the Trumpf TruLaser 7000. The 3600 W laser tube cutting system can process rectangular, square and round pipes and tubes having a wall thickness of up to 0.5" and diameters ranging from 6" to 10".

The Trumpf TruLaser 7000 comprises an automated loading system, which can handle about 8000 lbs of tube. The system can also handle 30 ft long tubes weighing approximately 500 pounds.

The laser machine has a parts programming feature that enables rapid setup times during operation. The laser focal point in the system adjusts to the tube thickness and the material type in the system. The laser system’s software also adjusts accordingly to the focus parameters, thereby removing the set-up time.

The laser pipe and tube cutting process removes stack up tolerances, minimizes lot sizes and processing of various metal alloys, does not require tooling charges and provides numerous cutting configurations.

The laser tube cutting system is used to produce a number of products such as roll bar cages, display cases, industrial tables, salad bar sneeze guards, medical carts, folding tables, sign stands, store fixtures, bar fixtures, ornamental railing, hand railing, hand railing and wall mounts.
