Manufacturer of electronic measurement devices and telecommunication testers, GAO Tek, has launched a new, advanced fiber optic power meter that has a compact design and a user-friendly interface.

The device is specifically developed for optical active and optical passive devices and fiber optic research and development. It can also be used for optical power and loss measurements in CATV and local area network (LAN) communication systems.
The 3010 fiber optic power meter can support optical measurements for multi-mode and single-mode fibers at 1550, 1480, 1310, 980 and 850 nm calibrated wavelengths. The power meter features a backlit LCD with graphic display as well as auto-zeroing and auto-ranging functions.
The fiber optic power meter has a robust design, consumes minimum power and provides ST-SC, FC-DIN, FC-SC and FC-ST adaptors for selection purposes.
