Optical transceiver-supplier, GAO Fiber Optics has launched the new AA1419013 Nortel compatible transceiver, suited for the applications, such as DWDM links, MMF, 10 gigabit Ethernet, gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel, and 10 Gbps SONET/SDH. The hot-swappable 1000BASE-SX SFP transceiver operates at a distance of up to 550 m and at a wavelength of 850 nm.

The 1000Base-SX transceiver comprises an effective management tool and digital diagnostics. The transceiver offers various features to support physical network connectivity applications, such as wave division multiplexing (WDM) devices, Ethernet routing and switching equipment, cross-connections, distance extenders, and media converters.
The AA1419013 transceiver is protocol-independent. The transceiver is suitable for various types of data communication and telecommunication applications.
