TV, telephone and broadband internet service provider, Virgin Media, has explained the benefits of using its advanced fibre optic cable broadband service.
According to the company’s spokesperson, competitors primarily depend on copper telephone wires to deliver their broadband networks. This means individuals who are living away from the telephone exchange will experience slow broadband speed.
The spokesperson informed that Virgin’s fibre optic cable broadband provides high-speed internet access. Additionally, the company’s broadband infrastructure is developed by using glass and is specifically designed to transmit the information instantly. This means speeds as high as 50 Mb can be reached easily.
Virgin has planned to provide the 50 Mb/s service for the V Festival. The festival will take place in Chelmsford and Staffordshire, UK.
