Trotec will showcase the i-Cut System at SGIA 2010 to target the North American market. The SGIA event will be held in Las Vegas on October 2010.

The i-Cut provides accurate and easy laser cutting and can be utilized for cutting POS materials, displays and printed signs.

The i-Cut is integrated with a micro-camera that is fitted on a mid-sized laser cutter. The device prints the registration marks along the image. The camera reads the registration marks and registers the printed design’s dimensions before the cutting process. The cutting path gets automatically adjusted irrespective of rotation, distortion, linear or non-linear printed design. The cutting lines match the printed design on rigid and flexible materials.

Users can get ideal cutting results while processing a number of printed materials namely paper, cardboard, polyester, MDF and acrylic.
