FiberLight Deploys Optical Transport Network for Sago in Record Time

Fiber optic network provider, FiberLight, has deployed an optical transport solution, a 10 Gig DWDM network, for Sago Networks in record time. FiberLight built the DWDM network to connect Sago Networks to the Miami-based data centers, including Peak 10 and Terremark's NAP of the Americas.

Sago Networks’ Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Miller Cooper, stated that the FiberLight’s multi-ringed optical network in South Florida provides secure, reliable and low-latency connectivity to the data centers, and allows the company to provide quick  service to its medical and military customers. FiberLight provides network redundancy and eliminates network breakdowns, Cooper said.

The Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at FiberLight, Ben Edmond, remarked that the company is delighted to work with Sago Networks, and continues to expand its network in Florida with the introduction of a new optical network connecting Miami to Kendall. This  expansion denotes 32-mile extension of the company’s fiber count in Florida, Ben said
