LED indication solutions-provider, Bivar, has announced the new ORCAdapt light pipe system. The complete light pipe system is suitable for applications such as transportation, medical devices, heavy equipment, and field instrumentation.
ORCAdapt
The light pipe system comprises an ORCA adaptor, a flexible light pipe system, and an inbuilt ORCA Super Flux LED.
The ORCAdapt combines the customized routing and optimized light transmission of the company’s light pipe system with the ORCA Super Flux LED’s durability and brightness. The ORCA Super Flux LEDs provide more lens configurations, higher luminous intensity, and higher power efficiency. The ORCAdapt supports the 2mm and 1mm flexible light pipe systems of Bivar.
The new 2mm flexible optical fiber light pipe system is a suitable LED indication replacement for the rigid light pipe systems. The plastic optical fiber is covered with a sturdy PVC alloy outer jacket, which optimizes light transmission, and does not have light leakage. The ORCAdapt operates with single, tri-, and bi-color ORCA LEDs and has color adjustment features that are input driven.
