Cree Expands LED LMR4 Portfolio with EasyWhite Technology

Semiconductor and LED lighting solution provider, Cree, has expanded its LED Module LMR4 portfolio by adding the Cree EasyWhite technology and a wide range of color temperature options. The extended LMR4 product line shows the company’s commitment to speed up the use of LED lighting in order to facilitate new LED-based lighting products into the market.

Cree LMR4 LED Module

The LMR4 LED module with EasyWhite technology combines thermal management, optics and driver electronics, allowing the module to be easily integrated and introduced into the market quickly. The LMR4 module provides 4000, 3500, 3000 and 2700 K color temperatures at 80 CRI, and consumes 12 W of power and lasts 35,000 h.

New evaluation kits containing a combination of Cree EasyWhite and TrueWhite options are also available.

Cree’s LED Module Product Manager, Scott Schwab, stated that access to the EasyWhite technology enables customers to expand their design possibilities and reduce the production cycle for new lighting products. This also extends the company’s LED module portfolio that is mainly developed to meet the requirements of original equipment manufactures.
