LightPath to Display Blue Laser Lenses at SPIE Optics and Photonics 2010

LightPath Technologies, manufacturer of optical products and laser components, will display its Blue Laser lens series at the SPIE Optics & Photonics exhibition, which will take place at the San Diego Convention Center from 3rd to 5th August 2010.

Blue Laser Collimating Lenses

The blue laser lenses are optimized for a number of applications such as blue and UV wavelength ranges, flow cytometers, fluorescence spectroscopes and microscopes.

The standard specifications for the blue laser lenses are being revised from 650 or 780 nm to 405 nm wavelengths. Shorter wavelengths enable dense storage and high-resolution capabilities. The blue laser lens fulfills these specifications and has become quite popular in the market.

Jim Gaynor, Chief Executive Officer of LightPath, stated that they are looking forward to display their molding aspheric lenses at the conference, and educating optical designers about the latest technological advancements will facilitate the development of advanced biomedical optics and industrial tooling.
