GAO Comm Announces New Optical Power Meter with LCD Screen

Communication test instruments-provider, GAO Comm launched the new 4E optical power meter for the maintenance and construction of CATV and fiber-optic communication systems. The multi-function power meter comprises a high definition liquid crystal display (LCD) screen that displays power in dBm, dB, mW, uW, and nW.

The 4E optical power meter tests optical power in the 850 - 1700nm wavelength range, and offers 1625nm, 1550nm, 1490nm, 1310nm, 1300nm, 980nm, and 850nm calibrated wavelengths. A microprocessor is integrated to control the optical power meter.

The compact optical power meter features high measurement accuracy, automatic frequency identification, low battery indication, self-calibration, automatic shutdown and reset, and automatic frequency range switching. The 4E meter provides SC, ST, and FC connectors to choose, while saves a maximum of 1000 data item groups.
