New Polymer Optical Components for Closing Velocity Sensor Systems

The Optoelectronics Systems Business Unit of Jenoptik has introduced new, advanced polymer optical units that are specifically developed for the Closing Velocity sensor system.

Jenoptik optical components

The receiver and transmitter component of the sensor system determines the distance to objects and its speed from signals typically in the range of approximately 10 m. The receiver and transmitter lenses are developed with high quality and the production design and complex process determine the shape of the laser diode light.

The Optoelectronics Systems Business Unit will also offers opto-mechanical and optoelectronic systems and components that are used in health care and life science, lighting and energy, automotive and mobility, and sensors technologies.

Jenoptik provides all the key production steps beginning from optics and product design. The production in the replication technologies is mainly based on surface technology, tooling, assembly, system integration and packaging technology.
