Dialight Unveils Light-Weight LED Dual Strobe Beacon

Producer of LED lighting fixtures, Dialight has introduced the LED L-864/L-865 flashing dual strobe beacon that has the industry’s lightest-weight flash head. The flash head enables easy installation on chimneys, cell and radio towers, while also lessens wind load.

The medium-intensity beacon measures approximately one-third of the conventional Xenon light’s weight and height. The LED L-864/L-865 flashing beacon is an advancement in LED obstruction lighting technology. The beacon’s design has been developed utilizing Cree XPE and Cree XPG red and white LEDs for long-life and energy efficiency.

The beacon consumes only 90W and delivers 20,000 cd during day. At night, the red or white strings provide 2,000 cd each at 25W and 35W, respectively. It resists vibration and shock, and also withstands adverse weather conditions.

The Chief Executive of Dialight Group, Roy Burton, stated that the beacon requires minimal maintenance for a maximum of 10 years, avoiding maintenance costs and risks of changing flash-tube.
