Cemtrex Inc. announced today that it has received an order to supply three Opacity Monitors for NRG Energy's Middletown, CT, 850 MW Generating Station.
Cemtrex's compliance laser opacity monitor, model LM 3086EPA, is an EPA certified monitor that provides the highest accuracy and long-term reliability for opacity and dust measurements. It is based on a low-power laser with excellent beam collimation and intensity that can sustain path lengths up to 300 feet. This lightweight unit does not require factory calibration like conventional opacity monitors. In addition, the single-pass, dual-path design reduces maintenance and quality assurance labor hours.
Cemtrex is engaged in manufacturing and selling the most advanced instruments for emission monitoring of particulate, opacity, mercury, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, etc. Cemtrex also provides turnkey services for carbon creation projects from abatement of greenhouse gases pursuant to the Kyoto Protocol and assists project owners in the selling of carbon credits globally.
