Gulfgate’s Fiber Optic Project Brings High-Speed Internet Access to Parish Schools

Gulfgate Construction announced that it has started laying the fiber optic cable on the Loreauville Road to provide high-speed internet access to Belle Place Middle School.

Gulfgate Construction’s Foreman, Al Landry, informed that after laying the pipe, they will install the fiber optics cable. The project will be completed shortly, he said.

Dale Henderson, Superintendent of Schools, informed that the initiative of the school board is to provide high-speed internet access to parish students, and added that most parish schools have access to high-speed internet, which will enable the students to access information and increase their learning opportunities.
