Trek Connect designs and produces NTDS data switching, military cable assemblies, interconnect and connector products and military wire harness assemblies for submarine, aerospace, military ground vehicle and naval surface applications. The company’s products are also utilized in telecommunication, audio/broadcast, industrial and medical industries.
The military cable assemblies include high-quality components such as the MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-PRF-28876, MIL-PRF-85045, MIL-C-83522, and MIL-PRF-29504 fiber cables. The cable assemblies have been used in air, sea and land settings such as CV Aircraft Carriers and CG Cruisers, Zumwalt Class DDG-1000 Destroyer, U.S. Army EQ-36 Counterfire Target Acquisition Radar, among others.
The fiber termination processes are validated by using an advanced interferometer that produces a three-dimensional (3D) image. The image provides details about the height of the fiber and the radius of curvature, which aid in attaining optimal light transmission on optic fibers.
Trek’s engineering staff has more than five decades of experience on the specification and design of military cable assemblies, and the technicians are trained to carry out the fiber optic terminations that comply with military standards such as the MIL-STD-2042B. The company’s QMS (quality management system) is AS9100B-certified.
