GAO Tek Launches New Fiber Optic Identifier

GAO Tek has launched a new, advanced portable optical fiber identifier that was specifically developed for the maintenance and construction of optical fiber CATV and communication systems.

Fiber optic identifier

The 6X optical fiber identifier works over a wavelength ranging from 800 to 1700 nm. The highly accurate device can easily differentiate the signals present in the optical fibers when the service is in process, and also avoids any undo pressure on the fibers. The module can recognize multiple signal frequencies including 2 kHz, 270 Hz and 1 kHz, and can also identify the H3.0/H2.5/H0.9 tail fiber and the H 0.25 bare fiber.

The optical fiber identifier operates for a minimum of eight hours, and features LED indicators for low power, negative/positive signal, intensity, frequency and transmission direction.

GAO Tek develops embedded development tools, telecommunication testers, and other electronic measurement instruments.
