New Podiatric Laser Aids in Tissue Repair and Growth

Advanced Foot Care Center’s sports podiatrist, Dr. Allan Rosenthal has acquired an advanced therapy laser called the UT-Series 1200. The K Laser, an FDA-approved product, was obtained after assessing the available laser technology in the market.

Dr. Rosenthal is also a certified podiatrist at the Ridgefield and Danbury Surgical Centers and Danbury and Norwalk hospitals. The K-Laser provides both tandem dual-infrared (IR) beams and independent wavelength treatment.

Rosenthal stated that clinical studies have demonstrated that laser therapy aids in tissue repair and growth; reduces pain, inflammation and scar tissue and speeds up the healing process. The laser can be utilized for treating podiatric indications, namely sports injuries, fungal nails and arthritic conditions, he informed.
