i2Systems, manufacturer of LED lighting products, is shipping the new solid-state LED elevator downlights that have a lamp life of 50,000 h and save as much as 75% of electricity compared to the traditional halogen models.
Apeiron A1161
The Apeiron A1161 lights use the LUXEON Rebel LEDs, which are provided by Future Lighting Solutions. The LUXEON LEDs eliminate re-lamping, which helps in reducing labor and replacement bulb expenditures.
The A1161 comes with a range of warm or neutral white LEDs that are ANSI-binned to ensure color consistency via the inventory management program of Future. The LED fixture delivers an output of 200 lm and provides optimal color rendering and color temperature. The LUXEON Rebel LEDs also enable the fixtures to quality for the ENERGY STAR program.
The small form factor of the LUXEON Rebel LED allowed i2Systems to obtain a high-lumen density, which aided in producing a uniform beam devoid of LED dots. The Rebel beam pattern’s forward light offers a 120° light distribution to light the walls and floor of the elevator cab.
