Health IT solution provider, Merge Healthcare and Intrinsic Imaging have signed a new technology agreement. Under the agreement, Intrinsic will install the new Merge’s CIMS (Clinical Imaging Management System). The company’s diagnostic radiologists will use the CIMS to manage the comprehensive imaging process in clinical studies.
The CIMS can handle all types of the imaging aspects in clinical trials; it allows instant acquisition of electronic image from the investigator websites, and offers quick radiologic analysis, image reporting and adjudication with a comprehensive image tracking. The clinical imaging management system offers a flawless EDC integration and transparent imaging trial execution.
Intrinsic’s COO and President, Todd A. Joron, stated that the combination of advanced imaging technologies with the company’s therapeutic, radiology and clinical trial expertise will revolutionize the way imaging is performed in clinical studies.
Merge’s Chief Executive Officer, Justin Dearborn, said that they are happy to collaborate with Intrinsic for their clinical imaging solution.
