According to the report, the shipment value and volume of Taiwanese LCD TV went down in 2010’s first quarter because of the poor shipment and component supply shortage in the Chinese market. The drop in components supply is anticipated to trouble the LCD TV makers of Taiwan in the second quarter of 2010. However, with the boost from the analog swithoff in several countries and the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the shipment volume is expected to grow in the latter half of 2010.
