Astronergy to Supply PV Modules for SPG Solar Project

Astronergy announced that it has signed a supply agreement with SPG Solar, a California-based company. Under the contract, Astronergy will supply 2.2MW of polycrystalline PV silicon modules for SPG’s rooftop project undergoing in Florida.

The contract also enables Astronergy to venture into the photovoltaic market in Florida. The company will provide a number of quality and high-efficient solar modules such as thin film, polycrystalline and mono-crystalline modules.

The Chief Executive Officer of Astronergy, Dr. Liyou Yang, stated that Obama Administration welcomes renewable energy efforts and will help increase the growth of PV modules in the U.S. market.

Alan Yuan, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Astronergy, said that the company’s California branch will provide the necessary logistical support, and will allow them to maintain close contact with the local customer base.

The Chief Executive Officer of SPG Solar, Thomas Rooney, said that he had personally visited the Astronergy’s factories in China and had assessed the entire production line, and this visit made them to choose Astronergy's PV modules for their project.
