GAO Introduces New Series of 3Com Fiber Optic Transceivers

Supplier of fiber optic transceivers, GAO Fiber Optics, has introduced a new series of 3Com compatible transceivers. The 3CFS91 transceivers are specifically developed for multi-mode fiber (MMF) operation at 850 nm wavelength.

3CSFP91-3Com Compatible Transceiver

The hot-pluggable transceivers find their application in various network topologies, and support Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, SONET, and other communication standards.

The modules can be utilized with any 3Com-supported SFP modules. Each 3CFS91 transceiver connects the module’s electrical circuitry with copper or optical network. The SFP-based modules also support patch cord-connections with UPC or computer connectors.

The transceivers offer physical network connectivity features for distance extenders, media converters, Ethernet routing and switching equipment, wave division multiplexers, and cross-connect solutions.
