GAO Instruments Introduces Portable Optical Fiber Identifier

GAO Instruments has launched a new optical fiber identifier for the development and maintenance of CATV and optical fiber communication systems. The portable optical fiber identifier offsets the pressure on the optical fibers and precisely differentiates the optical signals in the fibers.

GAO Optical-Fiber-Identifier

The A0640004 fiber optic identifier identifies various signal frequencies such as 2 kHz, 1 kHz and 270 Hz. The optic identifier also features a LED that displays the optical signal intensity and indicates the low-power. It can also identify the H 0.9/H 2.5/H 3.0 tail fiber and the H 0.25 bare fiber and can function over a wavelength of 800-1700 nm. In addition, the user-friendly optical identifier can function continuously for eight hours.

GAO Instruments manufactures and develops electronic measurement instruments and telecommunication testers.
