GAO Comm Introduces Dual-Wavelength Optical Light Source

GAO Comm, supplier of communication test instruments, has introduced its latest dual-wavelength optical light source. The optical light source is ideal for the construction, installation and maintenance of optical fiber projects, CATV and telecommunication systems. The handheld light source provides an adjustable frequency and a stable output power.

The rugged 08231 optical light source provides modulation frequencies of 2 kHz, 1 kHz, 270 Hz, 2 Hz and CW. The light source also offers dual-wavelength outputs of 850-1300 nm for multi-mode fiber measurement and 1310-1550 nm for single-mode fiber measurement.

The optical light source is equipped with an interface that can be operated easily and offers clear test results. The light source is powered by a 2.5 mm Universal/FC adaptor and has a rechargeable battery. The compact size and superior performance of the optical light source makes it ideal for field use.
