Qioptiq, designer and manufacturer of photonic products, reported that it has integrated all of its brands under a single name and logo. This integration will enable customers to have a greater access to the entire base of the company’s equipment, photonic capabilities, knowledge, and technology.
The company’s brands that are integrated together include Point Source, Gsänger, Avimo, LINOS, Spindler & Hoyer, Optem and Pilkington.
The company staff across Europe, North America and Europe will work together more closely to meet the various photonics needs of customers with broad services and range of products. Due to the new plan, the Point Source and LINOS units will change their brand identities and names to Qioptiq. The promotions and literature of Point Source and LINOS will be integrated with the new brand.
All the divisional websites of Qioptiq will be moved to a unified website, www.qioptiq.com, gradually throughout 2010. However, the sophisticated photonic products from LINOS and its catalog will be available online as well as in print. Despite the change in identities, the products, technologies and services from the company will remain the same.
