New LED Light with 16 Million Color Choices from Philips

Philips has launched a new LivingColors LED lighting fixture that incorporates advanced LED technology.

The new light offers 16 million color options that can be customized as per the user’s wish. With the help of a touch-sensitive color wheel in the remote control, the users can change the intensity of colors and have the ambiance of the room at their fingertips.

The new lighting fixture can be plugged in easily into any type of outlet. The extensive color range includes dimmable white light. The light includes an automatic color-changing function that gives more dynamic impression to the room.

The design and concept of the LivingColors lighting products are based on the consumer research conducted by the company to examine the idea of ‘atmosphere’ in terms of lighting. The new LED light offers an energy-efficient solution for designing with light and painting with color. The product allows to create an innovative design and to set the mood for different occasions.

With a single LED light, it enables to save a maximum of three different favorite settings. For instance, settings for common occasions such as warm reading nook for children or a vibrant friends gathering in the evening can be stored for future use.

The CEO of Philips Consumer Luminaires, Allard Bijlsma commented that the LivingColors provides a new creative dimension to the décor of a home by using light. The product can inspire a place immediately with different atmospheres according to the mood or occasion, he added.
