Tattile Introduces New Linescan Cameras for Bar-Code Reading

We are pleased to announce a new range of linescan cameras from Tattile. These cameras offer a low cost solution with industrial ruggedness. All cameras have adjustable Nikon F-mount and can run directly from 24V.

New Linescan camera

Features include:

  • High resolution 4080 pixels (colour) 8160 pixels (mono)
  • CameraLink and GigE interfaces available
  • Free SDK and GigE filter for ease of integration
  • Gigabit Ethernet models: Low CPU usage
  • Shading correction
  • Offset and gain control

Gigabit Ethernet models also include digital I/O and encoder interface, user programmable LUT and free SDK. With Gigabit Ethernet, the camera can be connected up to 50m from the computer without requiring additional repeaters and no Frame grabber cards are required for GigE cameras. Together with GigEvision compliant SDK and interfaces for many popular machine vision software products, these cameras make for easy integration.

Applications for the Tattile line scan cameras include bar-code reading, High speed web inspection, electronics/semiconductor, machine vision, industrial inspection, food / beverage and packaging.

For even greater ruggedness Tattile offer a range of embedded analyser system in a compact footprint. These devices provide a more reliable and power efficient alternative to PC systems while maintaining processing power in a small package. With Integrated touchscreen and Windows XP embedded on selected models these devices can also provide the user interface for operators and replace the need for a vision PC entirely.

Free image library and development suite software are provided for the Tattile system with no upgrade fees. Together these devices offer a complete system with no compatibility issues.
