Axsys Technologies, a division of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, delivered a V9 Multi-Sensor camera system to Placer County, Calif. The system is installed on a new AS350B3 helicopter that supports the County’s Sheriff Department.
The Axsys team customized the design of the V9 system based on Placer County’s requirements and inputs. General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems is a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).
The Axsys V9 Multi-Sensor is a mid-size, lightweight and user-friendly gyro-stabilized imaging system. Designed to meet airborne law enforcement and surveillance missions, its user-driven hand controller, laser pointer and fully integrated search light slaving capabilities provide maximum functionality and reliability. Contained in a durable, aircraft-grade aluminum body, the V9 Multi-Sensor is compact and durable.
