Axsys Technologies Supplies First Multi-Sensor Camera System to Coulson Flying Tankers

Axsys Technologies, a division of General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, delivered its first V9 Multi-Sensor camera system to Coulson Flying Tankers.  The system is installed on a new Sikorsky S-76B, a multi-mission helicopter platform that provides first responders and public safety officials with real-time information. 

Coulson Flying Tankers, a division of Coulson Aircrane, provides fire detection and surveillance services to the U.S. Forest Service.  General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems is a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).

The Axsys V9 Multi-Sensor is a mid-size, lightweight and user-friendly gyro-stabilized imaging system. Designed to meet airborne law enforcement and surveillance missions, its user-driven hand controller, laser pointer and fully integrated search light slaving capabilities provide maximum functionality and reliability. Contained in a durable, aircraft-grade aluminum body, the V9 Multi-Sensor is compact and durable.
