OSI Electronics to Supply Electronic Sub-Assemblies for DoD MRAP Armored Vehicle Program

OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, today announced that OSI Electronics, a business within its Optoelectronic and Manufacturing division, has received a contract award for approximately $6 million from ITT Corporation for electronic sub-assemblies.

The electronic sub-assemblies are to be used by the U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”) in their Mine Resistant Ambush Protected ("MRAP") armored vehicle program.

OSI Systems Chief Executive Officer, Deepak Chopra stated, "We are pleased to continue to work on this critical DoD program. We expect that the sub-assemblies to be delivered under this contract will be shipped by the conclusion of fiscal 2010.”
