US Navy Increases Funding to EF Johnson's 3eTI for Extension of VPMS Solution

Company to provide virtual perimeter monitoring system solution to protect Navy personnel and property

EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: EFJI) today announced that its 3e Technologies International (3eTI) subsidiary has received a funding increment of $5 million from the U.S. Navy to extend the virtual perimeter monitoring system (VPMS) solution it is currently providing to the Navy.

"We are providing engineering support as well as design and implementation for the Navy-wide VPMS solution," said Michael Jalbert, president and chief executive officer of EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. "This system combines real-time video surveillance with our FIPS 140-2 Validated(TM) secure broadband technology as a force multiplier to protect Navy personnel and property. This latest funding increment further demonstrates our ability to deliver this solution and our commitment to provide seamless and secure voice, video, and data to the DoD," added Jalbert.
