System Change to Commercialize Remote Light’s Intellectual Property Portfolio of UV Optics

Remote Light, Inc., an optics technology company, has appointed System Change, Inc. to license its extensive portfolio of ultraviolet (UV) light, optics, and fiber optic patents for drinking water and air applications. System Change will help establish Remote Light as a technology licensing company that offers custom design, validation and prototyping services.

“Remote Light has developed proprietary solutions that support innovative applications of UV light, optics and fiber optics, particularly for addressing the world-wide challenges of clean drinking water and safe air,” stated Isaac Horton, Ph.D., Remote Light’s Chairman and CEO. “Remote Light’s UV fluid and air treatment solutions are many times faster, more effective, and more energy efficient than conventional systems at the same initial costs. Our underlying patents and know-how will enable licensees to have a fast start in new UV-based product development, together with reduced development costs.”

System Change is focused on optimizing operations and leveraging assets to create additional revenue streams for client companies. With a successful track record that includes corporate turnarounds, financing and intellectual property (IP) licensing, System Change will facilitate transactions with companies who can create products using the core solutions developed by Remote Light.
